The rubber coating protects your floor, your barbell, and dampen the noise from lifting and dropping weights and the integrated handles make them easy to move and store. Note these are NOT bumper plates designed for high-rep workouts where the barbell is dropped frequently. For those, check out our listing for REP Fitness Black Bumper Plates.
